Simply Beautiful!

Sometimes I forget that simple is enough and can be just as beautiful as a card with a lot of extras! 

So, I decided to just use this Memory Box rubber stamp I've had & color in the flowers/stem/leaves with copics.  Add just a touch of an embellishment and complete!



It really does exist . . . .

Was starting to wonder if the sun still existed.  After a week of clouds, gloom, rain & fog, it was spectacular to see that sun again today.   Considering it might not last long, I decided to take the time to enjoy the sun & blue skies today doing some much needed yard work.

This card represents exactly what I enjoyed about being outside today

I found a perfectly made bird nest tucked inside my lilac bushes.

 

And was able to enjoy all the flowers that are in full bloom.

It cannot get better than this!  Hope you were able to have a fantastic Saturday yourself!

Take me out to the ball game . . . .

 I instantly thought of the summer tradition of attending a baseball game. 

 Everyone can remember attending a ball game during the summer, sitting in the stands, cheering on your team.

I have had this printed paper & baseball brads sitting in my stash for months. 

As soon as I saw this digital design, I instantly knew I finally found the perfect occassion to use them.

Milly in the Rain . . . .

Today is another sunny day here!  But we have had our raining days lately too.  And I have heard more are to come soon.  So, instead of feeling glum, I decided to have fun with it.  I found this FREEBIE, Milly in the Rain at Pink Gem Designs, http://pinkgem-janet.blogspot.com/2011/05/free-digi.html , so head over there to grab her for yourself too.

So, next time it rains instead of hiding inside, I think I'll follow Milly's lead on the situation & go play in the puddles! 

Swing Time . . . . AGAIN !

Remember those days when you were little & would pump your legs to go higher & higher on that swing.  Well, as soon as I saw this digital design, Deacon Swing from Bugaboo Stamps, http://www.bugaboostamps.com/ it reminded me of those days.
