Summer Time = Vacation!

I love the summer months.  It is when we find the time to go away with family & enjoy a vacation!

And what better theme for Paper Playtime's latests Stamping Monday Challenge,
  but Vacation!

This adorable little lady riding on her bicycle is from Prairie Fairy Designs.

She looks how I feel while on vacation . . . so peaceful!

My Embossed Paper & Printed Paper came from the same 8x8 paper pack from DCWV called Linen Closet.

Ribbon used is from Close to My Heart

I colored the digital Design, Gilly's Bike by Prairie Fairy Designs
 with Copics and Spica Pens

Then cut it out using a Spellbinders Nestabilities & "popped" it to add dimension.

Now head on over to Paper Playtime  to see all the wonderful creations the design team has posted.   To enter to to win some amazing PRIZES from our sponsors make a project with the theme of VACATION using a Stamped or Digi Image/Sentiment.

So, so if you are a Cricut or other Die Cutting Machine lover, you can still play along by adding a STAMPED sentiment. And for all you DIGI lovers out there – use any Digi image or sentiment on your project.

You can enter as many times as you like, as long as all your entries are NEW projects.  AND NO backlinks to previous blog posts.

Have fun with it!

Time to play B - I - N - G - O

Today starts a new challange at  Crafting for All Seasons!

The theme for this challenge is BINGO
Below is the Bingo Chart you will need to use in deciding what 3 elements you will use on your creation.  Pick 3 in a row.  They can be diagonally, up, down, or across.

Our sponsor for this challenge is

Sliekje's Blog is a wondering spot to find lots of free digital stamps & inspiration!

And

The Stamping Boutique is providing the winner of this challenge either
3 digis or 1 digital paper pack of Winner's choice!

The Stamping Boutique gave me the pleasure of working with their digital Scarecrow -

I decided to use the Bingo elements - Buttons, Embossing, Ribbons

The paper I used from my stash was embossed in areas.  So I considered that my Embossing part.
The Ribbon I used was from Close to My Heart.
And the Button was from my stash.  It is a pumpkin button I placed over the Copic colored small pumpkin in the Scarecrow image.

As mentioned I used Copics to color the image along w/ Spica & Glaze Pens.
And some Liquid Glass from Close to My Heart on the larger pumpkin of the Scarecrow image.

At first I thought it was too early to even think about Fall since it is still August.  But I woke to beautiful crisp fall-like weather today, which made my Scarecrow feel very welcome.

Now head on over to Crafting for All Seasons to check out all the wonderful creations from our design team..

Yes! TAG is a childhood game.

But it is also the theme  for the challenge at

Now this was a bit out of my comfort zone.
I have never made a tag, so I was a bit nervous & excited about this challenge.

But I think the idea I had & being able to work with this adorable digital design,
helped me create my vision.    I have to say I am quite pleased with the final result.

Which brings me to the prize for one lucky winner who enters this challenge -
A $10 Gift Certificate  to Tiddly Inks!!

A little secret, I did use a large manila tag as my base to make this a bit more sturdy.

Printed Papers by Cosmo Crickets
Black Silk Ribbon - Creative Impressions
Brad - Chatter Box
Sheer Calendar Month - Maya Road
Red Mini Paperclips - 7 Gypsies

And of course, the digital design Schoolboy & Extras by Tiddly Inks, which was colored with Copics.
